Volunteers

Experience the past from behind the scenes!

Plimoth Plantation’s mission is to provide the public with powerful personal experiences of history. We welcome dedicated and talented volunteers to work alongside our museum staff in accomplishing that mission. Every year volunteers join staff at the museum to help bring the 17th century to life for about 400,000 visitors from around the world.

The dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers help make Plimoth Plantation an exciting place to visit, learn, be with like-minded people and make new friends. As a Plimoth Plantation volunteer you give the gift of your time, knowledge and experience. Your participation is invaluable to the museum and we welcome your support. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at the museum that can be tailored to your specific interests and abilities.
